Object Creation in Second Life

It has become all to clear, that to really experience the full extent of Second Life, one has got to get some object building skills. I'm not exactly sure why it has taken me this long to come to this conclusion but suspect it has something to do with being distracted by all the objects in SL which have been created by other slitizens. I'm still very very new to the building scene but am excited about all of the possibilities that come from having acquired some basic building skills. Check out my first attempt at placing an image on an object below. Gotta start somewhere!
