HOW TO?: Second Life Teaching Format

Below is an outline of a possible "teaching format" for Second Life. I'm sure to tweak it quite a bit in the coming months because I'm really in the mood to try out some of the software (Open Source & Non) that I'm still not acquainted with.

SL Teaching Format 29/11/2006
Teacher...

1)...sets up a blog to act as a contact page + teaching/learning resource.(This resource could be expanded - - by adding more links, content) - - to provide a nice learning & teaching tool.) Tip: This particular blog can already act as a teacher & student resource, but it's recommended to eventually start ones own.

2)...creates blog exercises for the student to complete prior to next lesson.(Blog-exercises could vary in type and difficulty.)

3)...meets at prearranged location in Second Life, e.g. "ESL in Second Life" Teleport Link: http://slurl.com/secondlife/songnisan/223/227//

4)...runs Skype (or equivalent voice over IP software) to compliment Second Life

5)...uses the combined audio(Skype)/chat(SL)in an effective way.

Question: What ideas do you have for lessons in Second Life?
Stay tuned to updates on how the above approach is working for me.
