first i want to let you know, that i cant see an green word... but i think i now wich once we are talking about ;)
1)
offer = Angebot
enclosed patterns = beiligende Muster
compared = ?vergleichen? (could be if you read the sentece)
more favorable = ?vorziehen? (naja der andere ist halt besser)
to place an order = eine bestellung machen
under seperate cover = unter seperatem deckblatt

*mpf* the last time i´ve placed an order?!?!? im not sure but i think it was my soundcard that i´ve ordered on ebay. should be like 4-5 weeks ago.

under separate cover? i think in this sentence it means that the letter includes a (ordner) with his patterns.
