Hi Redy9, Great to see you blogging! I'm very glad you decided to do your "homework". ;)

Good! 1. occupation

X 2. I don`t know the right number, but there live a lot of more people then in my village.

"Kip, I think I have a problem with *if* and *when* ... i don`t know how to use it right. Could you explain it please?"
Redy9: This is a typical problem for Germans because of the use of "wenn". Ich soll am besten einige Beispiele geben. Siehe unten...

1 If I have more money, I will buy a new car.
Hier weiß ich nicht eigentlich ob ich je genug Geld haben werde. Man setzt "if" ein um auszudrucken, daß es nicht klar ist ob es überhaupt der Fall sein wird. Wenn ich hätte... If I had... / Wenn ich wäre... If I were

2) When I have more money, I will buy a new car. Hier hat man eher den Eindruck, daß ich das Geld doch bald haben werde. Es ist zu erwarten. When I have my new dictionary, I will learn more words. / When I finish work today, I will buy myself a pizza.

"And I would let you know, that I liked my first lesson with you. It was very interesting :)"

I am so glad you did! I hope to see you again next Friday! ;) Future lessons should be even more fun! I am excited about using the holodecks!!
