Ugoduganda: The Cure - Plainsong
Lyrics: The Cure - Plainsong
"i think it's dark and it looks like rain" you said
"and the wind is blowing like it's the end of the
world" you said "and it's so cold it's like the
cold if you were dead" and then you smiled for
a second.
"i think i'm old and i'm in pain" you said
"and it's all running out like it's the end of the
world" you said "and it's so cold it's like the
cold if you were dead" and then you smiled for
a second
sometimes you make me feel like i'm living at
the edge of the world like i'm living at the edge
of the world "it's just the way i smile" you said

What is that black disc for? ;)
That tune is named "Plainsong", funny - I don't understand the meaning of the song...maybe it is so plain, I cannot understand.:)
Perhaps the lyrics will help :)...

Thanks for your care, Kip!
Here are my thoughts:
The melody isn't sad (like the lyrics might be), it is peaceful, calming and powerful in some way,.... with joy.
The lyrics describs a good-bye, an end of a fulfilled life, because that person "smiled for a second".
Leaves another person, who sometimes feel "at living at the edge of the world".
That's my interpretation. :)
