Experimenting With HUDs



















I recently began experimenting some more with the idea of using HUDs for the teaching/learning of ESL/EFL in Second Life. The very rudimentary HUD shown in the above picture allows a learner or facilitator to click and receive a menu prompt. The menu allows the loading of URLs or in-world notecards. HUDs can be particularly useful when bridged with an LMS like Moodle or Claroline. See the Sloodle Project for their latest use of Moodle & HUDs.
